This is a traditional rich Christmas cake, a true staple of the festive season. Beneath the fondant, marzipan, and apricot jam will be a rich cake loaded with fruit, nuts, and spices, all deliciously soaked with brandy! The cake has been made mid October in order for it to have time to mature and be fed weekly with brandy.
The cake will be decorated with apricot jam, marzipan, and fondant, with royal icing and handmade decorations.
There are two sizes:
4.5 inches round, approximately 2.5 inches tall, presented on a festive cake board. Decorated with a wreath with sugar paste bells and holly.
6.5 inches round, approximately 3.5 inches tall, presented on a festive cake board. Decorated with a wreath with sugar paste poinsettia style flower and holly.
The fondant cake will have a festive ribbon at the base.
The cake contains, MILK, EGGS, TREE NUTS, SULPHITES & ALCOHOL
Cakes will ship by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Please state your required shipping date in the notes box on the checkout page, or email separately to email@example.com I do prefer to ship Monday through Thursday to avoid delays over the weekend.
After the cake arrives please keep it covered in a cool place.
Tip: If you have cake left over cut it into slices, wrap individually, freeze and then defrost as needed.
If you are sending this as a gift please ensure the recipient knows they are receiving a perishable product as we do not accept returns.
