The Welsh Box - You'll receive two packs of Welsh cakes and one Bara Brith. Each pack of Welsh cakes contains 6 cakes. The soft sultanas, mixed spice, along with a dusting of caster sugar are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea. Eat cold or warm, as they are, or slice in half and top with butter, jam, honey, cream, there are lots of options!
The Bara Brith/Speckled Tea Bread is full of plump sultanas, and raisins which have been soaked overnight in Welsh Brew Tea. The addition of Mixed Spice and Cinnamon give this naturally dairy free tea bread a lovely flavour to enjoy alongside tea or coffee. Can be eaten spread with salted butter or on it's own. Delicious either way.
Typically the Welsh cakes and Bara Brith last up to 5 days in the sealed package, but it's best to put them in to the freezer within 3 days of receipt for extended storage.
