A true tea time classic. The pretty pink and yellow cake with it's generous outer layer of marzipan and apricot conserve is one of the most recognizable cakes on the cake stand.
The loaf ships with a handy piece of acrylic cake wrap to make it easier to remove from the clamshell it ships in.
Serves 6 to 8 depending on the size of slice. The cake measures approximately 18cm x 9cm x 8cm. (I usually get 7 - 1" wide slices per cake)
After the cake arrives please consume or freeze within 3 days, or by use by date.
Tip: Cut the cake into slices, wrap individually and defrost as needed.
