If you are looking for a fresh flavoured, moist and tangy cake, then Lemon Drizzle cake is the one for you! We put plenty of fresh lemon zest into our cake batter, and then pour a syrup with fresh lemon juice over the cake once it's baked. The addition of a simple lemon glaze with it's sweet yet tart crunch just makes it mouth wateringly irresistible. Cake serves 4 to 6 depending on slice size.
The cake keeps for up to 5 days and can be frozen.
Tip: Cut the cake into slices, wrap individually and defrost as needed.
